FAQs
Get answers to some of the more common questions about therapy.
How long are therapy sessions?
The very first session will be an intake session. Intake sessions are scheduled for an hour and a half, but could take a shorter amount of time. After that, regular therapy sessions are 50 minutes long. During these times, you should be in a quiet and private environment that allows you to be fully immersed in the session.

How long will I be in therapy?
Therapy is a highly individualized process. The length of time and frequency of sessions (e.g., once per week, once every other week, etc.) will be discussed at the end of the intake session and decided upon by both the patient and the therapist. The aim is to help you meet and maintain progress on your goals as quickly as possible. "Booster sessions" for those who finished therapy and may need a few sessions to refresh and add to their skills are also available.
